MOOSE ON EBAY

I see a little silhouette of a mooseA lot of moose!

A variety of moose-related items are being auctioned on E-bay on a hourly basis. Below are a few things you're likely to see (prices in British pounds):

The Britains animals series is highly collectable and one of the series is the moose copyrighted in 1977 and reference '1355'. Is it one of the few, if not unique, animals to have a detachable body part, ie. the antlers. For this reason there is more variation in costs. A complete figure has a height of 9.0 cm.

Prices (including postage) observed on E-bay in 2005-2007 are as follows:

Moose with antlers: Range £3.70 - £12.59
Moose with broken antlers: Range £1.50 - £2.49
Moose without antlers: Range £1.39 - £2.24
Antlers without moose: Range £8.00 - ?

My personal collection currently includes 11 with complete antlers, 9 without and 1 albino moose (v. rare)!

Stamps have always been collectable and display a huge variety of images so it is no surprise that the moose has made an appearance a time or two. One example is the Canadian $5 stamp from 2003. It has an SG number of '1758'.
